Grizzly Golf is a DTC golf apparel brand on Shopify. No gimmicks, no one-weird-trick: six months of compounding gains from creative iteration loops the founders called out by name.
Grizzly Golf had the hard parts figured out: product people loved, a distinct brand voice in a category full of beige polo brands, and a Shopify store that converted. What growth needed was a paid system that could feed the brand new customers at a ROAS that held while spend climbed, instead of the usual pattern where scale erodes efficiency until someone pulls the budget back.
The engine was creative iteration: batches of new concepts shipped on a two-week cadence, tested in clean cells, with winners immediately spun into families of variants. New hooks on proven bodies. New formats on proven angles. Seasonal and product-drop creative planned ahead instead of scrambled.
Under it sat commerce fundamentals: Advantage+ Shopping carrying scale on clean signal, retargeting sequenced instead of sprayed, and measurement watched at the blended level so platform-reported ROAS never got to grade its own homework.
Revenue grew 86% over six months with ROAS up 16% period over period: efficiency improving while spend and revenue climbed, which is the opposite of how scaling usually feels. No single hero ad did it. The system did, iteration by iteration, which is exactly why the founders, Megan and Corey, called out the creative loops by name.
That is the repeatable part. A great ad is luck. A loop that reliably finds, multiplies, and replaces great ads is a system, and systems transfer.
